Boogies
Boogies is the Premier Karaoke experience in Paphos! We offer the largest selection of karaoke songs in Cyprus in addition to lively bouncy music that will keep you singing along and dancing all night! Friendly and attractive staff await your arrival and will go out of their way to make sure you have the best possible evening! Open since 1989 (25 years and counting) that says it all!

Flairs bar
For the youngsters, or young at heart, Flairs is the place to be of an evening in Paphos. Early in the evening there are games – all of which involve drinking – and later the DJ takes over and it gets LOUD!  Drinks are inexpensive, and there are lots of free shots to be had.  For us older folk there are seats outside, where it is quieter, but from where the games etc can still be watched. Well worth a visit.

Loft Club
Loft club was established in 2003 in Pafos with the ultimate goal to change the way people see Night Life.  During the summer months you will find Loft’s outside Club crowded with people dancing with modern Greek, POP, Electronic and RnB hits. Every week Loft holds a surprise to its visitors, from African to flame dancers and the rest of the year the closed part of the club fulfils everyone’s needs, the design, the gold elements, the hidden lights, in the winter Club creates a unique atmosphere.

Boulevard Bistro
Boulevard bistro and wine bar in Paphos is a hugely popular venue for people of all ages found in a convenient location on Kennedy Square in the centre of newly revamped Paphos old town. With an outdoor space at the front and a secluded outdoor garden to the rear and all sorts of events regularly offered, it’s not surprising this venue has flourished since it was taken over more than three years ago. Locals and tourists mix happily, and the food is tasty and of a good quality.

Plato
offers delicious gourmet mini-dishes, the most delicious and affordable sushi and a great variety of fine wine to suite your elegant sense of taste. ‘Πλατώ’ is an all day venue. You can have your coffee, order lunch or dinner, enjoy fine wine and drinks with friends and family. The kitchen is open daily from 12:30 to 23:00 with gourmet nibbles and delicious sushi bites! Ta Bania Restaurant – Poseidonos Avenue
Great for dining “in” or “out”, yards from the lapping waves (or sea-spray). Huge portions, a side-salad is a meal, of a wide range of dishes. Friendly staff and very good value.

Alea Café – Lounge Bar – 5 Poseidonos Avenue,
Great atmosphere, great location, good range of well served drinks, friendly and attentive bar staff. an astoundingly beautiful view is never very difficult but at the Alea Cafe-Lounge Bar you are truly spoiled. Within walking distance of the beach, the Bar offers a wide array of meal options as well as drinks. The cocktails are generous, fresh and flavourful, as well as reasonably priced. Make the most of the indoor or outdoor seating areas to enjoy the sunset and people watching. No matter where you are sat, the effortless beauty of Cyprus will be displayed before you.

Deck Café
Situated next to the Alexander the Great Hotel. A great café to pop in and have a cup of coffee or breakfast. It is located right on the sea front and breakfasts to dinner or just drinks.

Pingouino Cafe Lounge Bar

Offers excellent breakfast.  The atmosphere is great, good service and food -polite staff.  Pingouino is that sort of place, its like a special social club for members who enjoy the good things in life, who prefer the day to be taken at a gentler pace, confident in the knowledge that at any time there will be delivered to one’s table a cup of quality coffee, a refreshing cocktail, plus from early morning until midnight there will always be good quality food on offer. No matter what meal of the day you come in for, the Pingouino Café will deliver. Their comfortable seating and large TV screens will keep you entertained as you enjoy your meal. This is a wonderful place for a break from the bustling harbor. The staff are friendly and attentive and the drinks and menu items are delicious. They have quite a notable variety of pizza and pasta dishes as well as making the most of Cyprus’ thriving fishing industry.

A nice place for a leisurely meal. If you like great food and atmosphere while you dine you’re in for a treat.  Greek and Mediterranean cuisine

An excellent taverna in Moutalos Paphos

Fettas (closed for refurbishment)
This is a very traditional tavern, serves food cooked typically Cypriot way, the location is brilliant, in the heart of Paphos town, food is delicious, staff very pleasant, value for money, in short in spring and summer a very enjoyable outdoor setting.

SHOPPING
Paphos Market
The Paphos Market is located in the old town region of Paphos. It is open every day and is easily accessible as buses travel from all over Paphos to the market. There is a variety of shopping to do ranging from fruits, vegetables, seafood, leather shoes and handbags. There are some taverns and restaurants nearby, where one can rest after a long day of shopping.

Paphos Open Air Market
The Paphos Open Air Market is located at Timi village and is open every Sunday from 7.00 a.m. until 2.00 p.m. Locals come together to sell their products and you will find a lot of local Cypriot knick-knacks and decorative items along with some handicrafts.

THE KINGS AVENUE MALL
Kings Avenue Mall is an impressive full concept shopping mall ideally located in the heart of central Paphos convenient for both local residents and tourists.  It is the most modern mall of Cyprus and offers visitors the ultimate shopping experience. Leading international fashion brands and retailers, high fashion boutiques, specialty stores and services, a variety of popular and world-known restaurant chains and cafes, a multiplex cinema with 6 screens, an arcade and children’s indoor and outdoor play area are all available for your shopping, entertainment and leisure. It is a modern architectural design with a stylish interior layout and a vast selection of shops.  The Kings Avenue Mall is located in the tourist zone at a popular intersection in Kato Paphos, close to an archaeological site of great interest, at the junction of the Temple of the Kings Avenue and St. Paul Avenue, only a few hundred meters from the picturesque Paphos harbour and it’s just a short walk from Constantia Gardens Apartments. Free WiFi is available throughout the mall. There is also complimentary wheelchairs for visitors with limited mobility.

The main shopping lane which runs parallel to the beach promenade is the ideal tourist’s marketplace, here are just a few of the shops that you will find in Paphos, Cyprus handicraft Centre, Paphos Open Air Market.

Nothing reveals the spirit of a country more than a market, so make sure you find time to visit one during yours stay in Pafos.  The main market in the Pafos-Ktima area is the covered municipal market known to the locals as the     “Agora”.  The market stalls are busy with locals buying their weekly food or essential supplies.  Unlike local markets in towns the municipal market is open every day except Sundays.

Shopping hours:
In summer shops are open 08.00-13.00 and 16.00-20.30. In winter opening hours are 08.00 -13.00 and 14.30-18.00 (until 19.00 in spring and autumn). However many larger department stores and supermarkets, and shops in tourist areas, do not close for lunch. Shops are closed Wednesday and Saturday after 13.00, as well as all day Sunday.

SUPERMARKETS AND BEACHES

Supermarkets The most popular supermarkets are: Papantoniou Supermarket near the harbour 2 minutes by car 12 minutes’ walk, Garden of Eden 2 minutes by car 10 minutes’ walk.  Of course there is Alphamega nearby which is a very large supermarket that does on line shopping as well.!.

BEACHES

Paphos enjoys an expansive coastline providing a wide variety of beaches to choose from, ranging from secluded bays, to lively resorts, sandy beaches and rocky coves, you are bound to find the right one for you. A favourite with the locals, Municipal Beach is a blue-flag sandy beach just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment.

Paphos Municipal Baths A favourite with the locals, Municipal Baths Beach is a sandy beach with very few rocks. It is located in the heart of the tourist area of Kato Paphos, just a few meters off Poseidonos Avenue and 300 metres from Paphos Castle. Access to the beach is easy and there are signs with directions showing the way to the facilities. There are restaurants and accommodation facilities nearby. Wooden deck and sand

Faros Beach
Faros is a sandy beach with an excellent view situated at the west end of Pafos. Access to the beach is easy and well sign-posted. There is also a beach volleyball court. Accommodation facilities are available close by.

Alykes is a sandy beach situated near the hotels in the tourist area of Kato Pafos, off Poseidonos Avenue. Accommodation facilities are available nearby.

Vrysoudia Beach
Is a sandy beach surrounded by rocks, is situated near the hotels in the tourist area of Kato Pafos, off Poseidonos Avenue. The most organized beach managed by the municipality of Pafos, it is very well sign-posted… Accommodation facilities, bars, restaurants and telephones are also available nearby. Vrysoudia Beach B has a sandy beach and magical scenery offering a magnificent view towards Pafos harbour and castle. It is situated near the hotels in the tourist area of Kato Pafos, off Poseidonos Avenue. There are signs with directions showing the way to the facilities. Accommodation facilities and telephones are available nearby.

Coral Bay (Coral Bay is just a 15 minute drive or bus ride away) One of the best sandy beaches of the region, it is located in Pegeia – Coral Bay, easily reached by car, motorbike, bicycle and bus. Water sports, sun bed and umbrella hire are available on site.

The quality of the water is tested frequently and the beachfront is cleaned every day.  All the beaches have water sports, sun bed and umbrella hire available on site and lifeguards are on duty with lifesaving equipment.  There is a bus stop nearby and access to the beach is easy by bus, car, motorbike and bicycle

Family fun:
Paphos is an ideal resort for families with sandy beaches, a smorgasbord of watersports, boat trips and a host of land based sporting activities including hiking in the Troodos Mountains and Jeep Safaris. The white-knuckle waterslides, wave pools and fast and lazy rivers at the Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark – including one of the biggest family rafting rides in Europe.  Check out the website (www.aphroditewaterpark.com) thrill kids and big kids alike

The nearest airport is Paphos International Airport which is 12 kilometres away (20 minute drive)

The nearest beach is 7 – 10 minutes’ walk.  A car is not necessary as everything is close by.  However, there is a bus service that passes the apartments if you need to go further.
